The Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society is pleased to announce that Erin Boehm has joined the NFFS staff as Workforce Development Specialist, effective March 2026.

In this role, Erin will support the continued expansion of the NFFS Talent Pipeline Program (TPP), serving as a Network Coach to employers participating in the growing 2026 cohort. She will work directly with member foundries to guide implementation of the program, provide hands-on coaching, and help employers build sustainable workforce strategies to recruit, train, and retain talent. Her work will be instrumental as NFFS continues to scale the TPP across the nonferrous foundry industry.

Erin brings more than a decade of nonprofit experience focused on mission-driven, people-centric initiatives. Most recently, she served as Veteran Internship Program Coordinator at the Chicago Botanic Garden, where she supported military veterans transitioning to civilian careers through structured training, career readiness programming, and individualized coaching. In that role, she developed and managed relationships with more than 300 partner organizations, including veteran associations and VA offices, demonstrating a strong ability to build networks and execute impactful workforce programs.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from New York University, with a focus on cultural studies. A personal interest in metalwork art initially sparked her curiosity about the foundry industry and ultimately led her to NFFS.

“Erin’s background in workforce development and her ability to build meaningful connections make her a natural fit for this role,” said Jerrod Weaver, Executive Director. “As we continue to expand the Talent Pipeline Program, having strong, capable network coaches in place is critical. Erin will play an important role in helping our members address one of the most significant challenges facing our industry—building and sustaining a skilled workforce.”

Please join us in welcoming Erin to the NFFS team. She will be working closely with participating employers in the TPP and looks forward to connecting with members across the country in the months ahead.
