More than a marketing agency

The Growth MO for Manufacturing

Marketing Options is a B2B industrial marketing firm in Dayton, Ohio that builds marketing the way a foundry builds a process: a defined mode of operations that can be installed, measured, and improved.

Web, design, video, photography, research, email, digital advertising, and 3D technical animation are all produced in the Dayton office. For NFFS members, that means working with people who already understand pattern shops, pour schedules, part buyers, and the long, technical sale that follows a quote request.

That includes how sourcing actually starts now. Search still matters, but a growing share of buyers open an AI assistant and get one answer back instead of a page of links. Being present in that answer, not just on page one, is becoming its own discipline. Digital ads and paid search cover the ground while that visibility builds, putting you in front of buyers who are searching this quarter rather than next year.

30+ yearsserving B2B manufacturers

Marketing Options builds marketing for manufacturers, with a specialization in metalcasting that started in 1987. Both sides of the industry are using the Growth MO — foundries and the suppliers who serve them.

For foundries

Getting found by purchasing managers who have never toured your plant, making the quote request simple to send, and keeping every inquiry accounted for once it arrives.

For foundry suppliers

Reaching the plant managers and engineers who specify and approve your equipment, materials, and services — technical enough to hold up with the people evaluating it, and visible in the long stretches between trade shows.

Exclusive to NFFS members

What NFFS members receive

Three benefits available only to NFFS member companies in good standing.

Complimentary marketing & sales audit

A no-cost review of website performance, search visibility, and how sales inquiries are captured and followed up. You receive a written assessment and a short list of the highest-impact fixes.

Managed Sales Operations Engine

A CRM and email system set up and operated on your behalf, included with the Foundry Package for NFFS members and carried at no separate service charge while the engagement is active.

Priority onboarding

Member engagements move to the front of the scheduling queue, so work starts sooner rather than waiting on general agency availability.

Why we built this

The buyers who knew you
are retiring.

For most of the last fifty years, foundry work arrived through reputation and relationships. That still matters. But the purchasing managers placing orders today did not inherit anyone's rolodex, and the inquiries you do receive are scattered across systems nobody owns.

Your leads live in six different places

Some contacts sit in a spreadsheet, some in a quoting system, some in a stack of trade show badges, and most in one person's email. There is no single list, so nothing can be worked as a group.

Nobody can say when a customer was last contacted

Was that account called last month or eighteen months ago? Without a shared record, the answer is a guess, and good prospects go quiet simply because no one realized it had been that long.

New buyers have never heard of you

Marketing was never necessary when the phone rang on its own. But a new purchasing manager sourcing a casting supplier starts with a search, and a foundry that is hard to find is a foundry that does not get quoted.

Too much volume rides on too few industries

When most of your pour is committed to a handful of customers in one sector, that sector's downturn becomes yours. Reaching new segments does not happen by accident.

The Foundry Package

Find the gaps.
Then fix them.

The Foundry Package is built around those four problems. It starts by showing you exactly where inquiries are leaking and where buyers fail to find you, then puts a working system in place to fix both.

01
Free to members

The audit finds the gap

A complimentary Foundry Marketing & Sales Audit covering three areas: how your website performs, how visible you are in search, and how your sales process handles an inquiry from first contact to follow-up. It asks very little of your time, and you come away with a written assessment and the specific opportunities behind it.

02
No separate service charge

The engine keeps every lead accounted for

For members who engage the Foundry Package, Marketing Options sets up and runs a managed Sales Operations Engine. Contacts from across your systems are brought into one place, and activity is logged as it happens, so you can see when an account was last contacted without asking around. Leads move through defined stages, audiences get segmented, and campaigns go out on your behalf.

Most foundries never get a CRM off the ground because nobody has time to own it. Here, Marketing Options owns it. It also gives you a record to work from: which inquiries came in, how they moved, and what follow-up actually happened, instead of relying on memory.

What the Foundry Package includes

Website, search, and advertising work is how buyers who have never heard of you find you. Email, and announcements placed with the trade press, are how you open conversations in industries you do not serve yet.

  • Website maintenance and ongoing improvements
  • Technical SEO and site performance optimization
  • Digital advertising and PPC management
  • Monthly email marketing
  • Trade show, product, and capability announcements
  • Monthly reporting aligned to sales follow-up

The complimentary audit and the no-charge managed Sales Operations Engine are available only to current NFFS members in good standing. The managed engine is provided while a member maintains an active Foundry Package engagement.

Built to grow with you

Start where you are.
Add capability as you grow.

Marketing Options works in stages rather than a single fixed retainer. The Foundry Package puts the fundamentals in place and gives you a system that shows what your marketing is actually producing. From there, the program expands only when the results justify it.

Start with the audit

Find out what your marketing is actually doing for you.

The audit is free, there is no obligation to engage, and you keep the findings either way. Complete the short request form and Marketing Options will follow up to collect what they need.

Frequently asked questions

Is the audit really free?
Yes. The Foundry Marketing & Sales Audit is offered at no cost to NFFS members in good standing, with no obligation to engage Marketing Options afterward. You keep the findings regardless of what you decide.
How long does the audit take on my end?
Very little. Marketing Options handles the website and search analysis on their side. The sales-process portion is a short set of questions about how inquiries reach you and what happens next, which you can answer on your own time.
What does "no separate service charge" mean for the CRM?
Setting up and operating the Sales Operations Engine is included in your Foundry Package engagement rather than billed as an add-on service. Most agencies treat CRM management as a separate line item. Here it is part of the program.
What happens to the CRM if we stop the engagement?
The managed service is tied to an active Foundry Package engagement. If the engagement ends, you have the option to keep access to the software on its own, without the marketing program, for a fee. Marketing Options will walk you through that transition and make sure your contact records and history come with you.
Do I have to be an NFFS member?
Yes. The complimentary audit, the included managed Sales Operations Engine, and priority onboarding are available only to current NFFS members in good standing.
We already have a marketing person. Is this still useful?
Often more so. The audit gives an internal marketer an outside read on where the gaps are, and the Foundry Package is built to extend a small team rather than replace it.
Does NFFS pay Marketing Options for this?
No. The partnership is a value exchange. NFFS provides membership, partner designation, and promotion; Marketing Options provides the member program, the education series, and website modernization support. No fees pass in either direction.
Who do I contact for help?
For anything about the audit, the Foundry Package, or the member program, contact Marketing Options at 937.436.2648 or through moptions.com. For questions about your NFFS membership or eligibility, contact Brianna Gianti at brianna@nffs.org.
