No. The NFFS form simply expresses your company's interest in the program. NFFS provides your information to MSC, and MSC contacts your company regarding any additional steps required to complete enrollment or connect existing accounts.
Is the NFFS form a Letter of Participation or Purchase Agreement? +
No. The NFFS interest form is not a Letter of Participation, Purchase Agreement, or other agreement between your company and MSC. If MSC requires additional documentation or an agreement, MSC will provide it and work directly with your company.
Who handles enrollment and account mapping? +
MSC handles its account review, account mapping, enrollment requirements, and any MSC-specific agreements or documentation directly with the participating member company.
What does NFFS handle? +
NFFS promotes the member benefit, collects initial expressions of interest from members, and connects interested member companies with MSC.
Do I need to open a new MSC account? +
Not necessarily. If your company already purchases from MSC, include any known account numbers on the NFFS interest form. MSC will review your existing accounts and determine the appropriate way to connect eligible accounts to the program. Please do not create a duplicate account unless instructed to do so by MSC.
Can multiple employees from our company use the program? +
Yes. Once the company account is enrolled with MSC, authorized employees in purchasing, maintenance, production, operations, engineering, safety, and other departments may order through the company's MSC account.
Is the program only for metalworking products? +
No. MSC offers metalworking products as well as PPE, safety equipment, fasteners, welding supplies, electrical products, tools, material handling equipment, janitorial supplies, maintenance products, and much more.
What happens after I submit the NFFS interest form? +
NFFS provides your information to MSC. MSC reviews your company's account status and contacts you directly regarding next steps, including any additional information, documentation, agreements, or account mapping needed to complete enrollment.
