Support the Mary & Louis Iannettoni Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (NFFS) is proud to honor the legacy of Mary and Louis Iannettoni through a scholarship fund that supports students and incumbent workers pursuing education and training for careers in the metal casting industry.

Louis Iannettoni graduated from Michigan Tech in 1949 with a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering and went on to build a distinguished career in non-ferrous metal casting. Over the decades, he held leadership positions at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Buffalo Motor and Gearing, and owned and operated Lockport Non-Ferrous Castings in Lockport, NY. In 1971, Louis became president of Jardine Castings and later merged it with Meloon Foundries in Syracuse, NY, which he owned and operated until its sale in 2014.

As a past president of NFFS, Louis played an instrumental role in guiding the association through challenging times, ensuring its continued service to member foundries and the broader metal casting community. His wife, Mary Iannettoni, was known for her warmth, generosity, and commitment to helping others, values that continue to inspire those who knew her. Together, they exemplified the spirit of dedication, leadership, and community that defines the metal casting profession.
