MetalTek Names David Bacon Chief Executive Officer

WAUKESHA, WI, August 10, 2026 – MetalTek International, a leading global manufacturer of critical metal components that power, protect, and connect our world, today announced the appointment of David Bacon as its Chief Executive Officer.

Bacon succeeds E.J. Kubick, who is retiring as CEO as planned after leading the company since 2019. Kubick will transition to the role of Executive Vice Chairman for a planned two- to three-year period, supporting MetalTek’s long-term strategic direction.

He has more than 25 years of operational and commercial leadership experience in industrial manufacturing and advanced materials and is a hands-on, people-focused executive. David is the right person to lead MetalTek into its next chapter of growth.”

Bacon most recently served as CEO of Halocarbon, where he led a significant business transformation. During his tenure, he drove strong revenue and profitability growth while strengthening the company’s safety culture and expanding its position in high-value markets such as aerospace and defense, pharmaceuticals, and microelectronics. Prior to Halocarbon, Bacon held executive leadership positions with NCH Corporation and Celanese, served clients as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and began his career as a chemical engineer with Exxon. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. Bacon will be based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
