With heavy hearts, we pay tribute to John Kemper Sr., a dedicated leader who served as the President of the Non-Ferrous Founders Society in 1991 and 1992, who passed away earlier this week. His unwavering commitment to the industry and his enduring legacy continue to inspire us. John's passion for advancing the non-ferrous foundry sector was unmatched, as highlighted in his long-standing membership and his instrumental contributions to NFFS as an officer and a member of the NFFS Board of Directors. His vision and leadership left an indelible mark, and his memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

John was the former President of Avalon Precision Castings located in Brook Park, Ohio. Avalon is a leading manufacturer of precision investment castings based in Cleveland, Ohio. He founded the company in 1986 with his business partner Mr. Mel Kman.
