NFFS announces Board of Directors nominations for 2024
The Non-Ferrous Founders' Society is pleased to announce its proposed 2024 Class of Officers and Directors for the Society. The Board of Director's serve as the steering body for the organization and is comprised 100% of member volunteers. The 2024 class of officers and directors represents a new generation of industry leaders that will be entrusted with pursuing the mission and the vision for the organization.
The following proposed class of officers and directors will be ratified by a vote of the membership present during the 2024 Industry Executive Conference annual business luncheon to be held on Tuesday, February 27 2024 at 12:00 pm EST.
The following individuals have been nominated to serve as the Society officers for the 2024 Class of Directors:
- John Mellone, Beck Aluminum Corp., has been nominated for the office of Society President;
- George Mugford, Bunting Bearings, LLC, has been nominated for the office of Society Vice-President;
- Cathy Dolan, Calumet Brass Foundry, Inc., has been nominated for the office of Society Treasurer.
The following individuals have been nominated to serve on the Executive Committee with the Society officers for the 2024 Class of Directors:
- Rolf Gretschmann, Standard Manufacturers Services Ltd., (Rolf Gretschmann becomes a nonvoting member of the Board and the Executive Committee in his role as Society Past-President)
- Jay Armstrong, Trialco, Inc.
- Len Weber, Batesville Products, Inc.
- Karen Strelitz, California Metal-X
Directors with terms expiring in 2024. These Directors have been nominated for reappointment to a second three-year term on the Board:
- Daniel Horvath, Brost Foundry Company
- Paul Leitelt, Leitelt Brothers, Inc.
- Tad Olson, Olson Aluminum Products
- Lala Romero, Sipi Metals Corp.
- Karen Strelitz, California Metal-X
- Len Weber, Batesville Products, Inc

Directors resigning from the Board effective February 2024. These Directors have completed their term of service, and depart the Board with the thanks of the Society:
