Registration now open for Ft. Worth Foundry Tour & Networking Event

Registration is now open for the Non-Ferrous Founders' Society's Industry Networking Event & Foundry Tour of Midland Manufacturing Co. in Fort Worth, Texas, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Please note that the foundry tour is limited to NFFS members, but the evening event at Billy Bob's is open to all foundry industry professionals. 

Tickets for the event are $49 per person. For details and to register, go to www.nffs.org/events/fort-worth. In addition, a room block at the OMNI Fort Worth will be made available to those wishing to stay overnight. Room reservation information will be made available as soon as it is provided by the hotel.

The day begins with a plant tour of Midland Manufacturing Company from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Midland Manufacturing, established in 1889, is a fourth-generation, family-owned brass, bronze and aluminum foundry dedicated to quality products and friendly service. 

Following the tour, NFFS will host an industry networking event at the (in)famous Billy Bob's Texas, "The World's Largest Honky Tonk," where fun-loving folks of all ages can enjoy entertainment every day and night. Billy Bob’s Texas opened April 1, 1981, capturing national attention with its 100,000 square-foot indoor entertainment center, 30+ bar stations, real Pro Bull Riding, and a Texas-sized dance floor.

For over 41 years, Billy Bob’s has hosted the biggest stars in country music and classic rock from Alabama to ZZ Top. Billy Bob’s has been named “Country Music Club of the Year” twelve times by the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.
