NFFS Welcomes Felipe Reyes as Director of Business Development - ICON
Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society is pleased to announce that Felipe Reyes has joined the NFFS staff as Director of Business Development – ICON. In this role, Felipe will lead the customer-facing growth, engagement, and strategic development of the ICON portal—NFFS’s flagship government-industry platform that streamlines how foundries find, win, and fulfill casting orders in support of the US Government, the Department of War, and the American Warfighter.
Felipe will be responsible for expanding ICON’s reach across the defense industrial base, strengthening partnerships with our collaborating industry associations, and supporting foundries as they adopt and utilize ICON to pursue new federal opportunities. He will guide sales, marketing, and user engagement strategies for ICON; foster relationships with OEMs, DLA, and government stakeholders; and help advance the overall vision of ICON as an end-to-end contracting enablement platform for domestic manufacturers.
Felipe brings more than 25 years of diverse experience across commercial, nonprofit, and government-related organizations. His career includes leadership roles with Nielsen Media Research, the National Safety Council, the American Marketing Association, and TechSoup. He is also the founder of FedRegs AI—a suite of SaaS AI agents trained on federal regulatory frameworks—and co-founder of Find Safety Trainers, a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of occupational safety services. His background includes substantial federal procurement experience, with past contract engagements supporting the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, Defense Logistics Agency, and Department of the Interior. Felipe holds an MBA from the University of Illinois Gies College of Business.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Felipe is the creator of MintLab, a financial literacy app that helps young people understand the long-term impact of their spending habits and build healthier financial futures. He resides in Oak Park, Illinois with his son and dog.
