Event Details

Building a stronger metalcasting workforce starts with the actions we take today. The Metalcasting Workforce Summit brings together foundry leaders, human resources professionals, educators, and workforce partners to explore practical solutions for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining the people who will shape our industry’s future.

The Summit opens May 12 with keynote speaker and a welcome reception connecting attendees with industry peers, exhibitors, and workforce programs. On May 13, an interactive program of presentations, roundtable discussions, and breakout sessions will help participants strengthen talent pipelines, improve hiring decisions, and build workplaces where employees choose to stay.

Explore apprenticeship models, workforce funding opportunities, and storytelling strategies that make manufacturing careers stand out. Discover programs that connect students and communities with metalcasting, learn how effective onboarding and leadership drive retention, and examine how AI can support more human-centered leadership.

Built around the idea that the workforce gap is a national challenge with a local solution, the Summit will challenge attendees to turn ideas into action, with practical approaches, valuable connections, and clear next steps for their organizations. Continue the conversation during a closing evening event at Ballpark Village.
