YOUR SUPPORT IN ACTION

An internship. A direction. A future.

For Penn State Behrend senior Nathan Alfieri, three internship and co-op rotations at Erie Bronze & Aluminum helped connect his education with a future in metalcasting.

In 2026, Nathan received the $2,500 NFFS scholarship, recognizing his promise and supporting his continued education. His story shows how member companies, educators, and scholarship support can encourage emerging talent.

“I'm really excited and looking forward to working in the metalcasting industry after I graduate.”
