Event Details

Join panelists Chris Watson, Business Development, Government and Sarah Georgin, Deployment Lead, Navy Manufacturing as Non-Ferrous Founders' Society (NFFS) hosts this exciting webinar with Gecko Robotics on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 2:00pm EST.

Across the Navy’s foundry base, as many as half of all castings are rejected and more than 80 percent require weld repairs—each one documented through slow, paper-based reporting that adds days of labor and months of review. This webinar will explore how Gecko Robotics, working with Maritime Industrial Base foundries and the Navy, is replacing that manual process with a secure, digital workflow built on high-fidelity 3D models of cast parts. We’ll showcase one use case where photogrammetry, AI-assisted defect detection, and automated repair documentation dramatically shorten inspection and approval times, improve auditability, and generate the data needed to raise first-pass yields and deliver critical hardware faster to critical Navy programs.
