R3 Technical Committee Meeting

Event Details
The first official R3 Technical Committee meeting will introduce the Reject Rate Reduction Program and begin organizing industry input around recurring quality, delivery, and production challenges affecting high-priority naval castings and related components. The initial focus will include Nickel Aluminum Bronze, Copper-Nickel, and adjacent non-ferrous alloy systems, with discussion centered on practical data needs, supply-chain mapping, defect/rework themes, and opportunities for targeted technical assistance.
This committee is intended to be a collaborative industry forum, not an audit or fault-finding effort. NFFS is seeking input from foundry leaders, metallurgists, quality personnel, engineers, suppliers, machine shops, inspection partners, and other stakeholders who can help identify real production challenges and support development of useful, confidential, and practical technical guidance for the domestic non-ferrous foundry supply base.
