Industry Networking Event & Foundry Tour - Birmingham

Join your foundry industry colleagues in Birmingham, Alabama on October 23rd for another NFFS Industry Networking Event & Foundry Tour!

In the afternoon, event attendees will be treated to a tour of NFFS member foundry American Foam Cast, an aluminum lost foam foundry located in Sycalauga, Ala., approximately one hour southeast of Birmingham. If you've never had the opportunity to see the lost foam casting process, this is your chance!

Attendees have the option of taking the NFFS bus from the Westin in downtown Birmingham, or arranging their own transportation and meeting the group at American Foam Cast. NOTE: The tour is limited to NFFS members.

The bus will return to the Westin following the tour of American Foam Cast, departing again at 4:30 p.m. for the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, where attendees can spend the evening networking with their industry colleagues at this one-of-a-kind venue!

Where else in the world can you see 1,000+ mint-condition motorcycles on exhibit at one time? Nowhere! The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum is recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest motorcycle collection. With over 1,800 motorcycles spanning over 100 years of production, the Barber collection represents 220 different manufacturers from 22 countries. The museum also features the world’s most extensive collection of Lotus cars, plus an assortment of other rare and unusual cars. 

Attendees have the option of taking the NFFS bus from the Westin in downtown Birmingham, or arranging their own transportation and meeting the group at the Museum.
