NFFS Announces "The Crucible" Archives

Posted By: Jerrod Weaver News, Industry, NFFS,

For decades, The Crucible magazine was the flagship publication of the Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society. From the very start, the bi-monthly magazine delivered timely news, technical and regulatory updates, and valuable insights for the non-ferrous foundry industry. Each issue reflected the challenges and achievements of its era, documenting the evolving story of our industry and its people.

Today, members recognize The Crucible as NFFS’s weekly email newsletter, which continues the tradition of delivering critical information in a fast, digital format. While the medium has changed, the mission remains the same: advancing the interests of our members and strengthening the non-ferrous foundry industry.

We are pleased to announce that the historical archives of The Crucible magazine are now available online. Our initial release includes the years 2001–2005, with additional years to be added on a rolling basis. We invite members to explore these archives regularly as new issues are posted.

Through the archives, you can revisit seven decades of foundry history, rediscover great editorial content, revisit industry issues, and enjoy a true “blast from the past” from the publication that continues to connect the non-ferrous foundry industry
