NFFSummit Webinar: EPA “R” Form Reporting
Presenter: Martha Guimond, Joseph Guimond & Associates
Cost: FREE to NFFS members; $99 for non-members
The EPA Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) tracks the management of certain toxic chemicals that may pose a threat to human health and the environment. Non-ferrous foundries (and secondary smelters) must report annually how much of each chemical is released to the environment and/or managed through recycling, energy recovery and treatment by submitting the TRI Form R, usually by July 1.
Join NFFS for a down and dirty conversation on exactly WHO must file the R form, HOW to calculate and report TRI chemical ‘releases,’ WHAT the materials are that you must report, and WHAT their reporting thresholds are.
If you believe that you do NOT need to submit a Form R, you should join to make sure! If you DO file an R form, join the conversation to make sure you are reporting the RIGHT chemicals and using the RIGHT emission factors in your calculations.
