NFFS Establishes Workforce Development Committee
Join the NFFS Workforce Development Committee:
Help Shape the Future of Our Industry
The Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (NFFS) is excited to announce the formation of a new Workforce Development Committee, a strategic initiative designed to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our industry: talent shortages, skills gaps, and an aging workforce.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on this committee and work alongside the NFFS Director of Workforce Development. Together, this group will play a vital role in building a skilled and sustainable workforce that supports the future of the non-ferrous metal casting industry.
Why Join?
As a member of the Workforce Development Committee, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Influence training and education strategies that directly benefit NFFS member companies
- Evaluate programs and partnerships to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the industry
- Lead and support student engagement initiatives, including the NFFS Scholarship Program and collaboration with the Foundry Educational Foundation (FEF)
- Shape career pathways that attract and retain skilled workers in our field
This is your chance to make a meaningful impact—not just within your own company, but across the entire industry.
