The EPA Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) tracks the management of certain toxic chemicals that may pose a threat to human health and the environment. Non-ferrous foundries (and secondary smelters) must report annually how much of each chemical is released to the environment and/or managed through recycling, energy recovery and treatment by submitting the TRI Form R, usually by July 1.

Join NFFS for a down and dirty conversation on exactly WHO must file the R form, HOW to calculate and report TRI chemical ‘releases,’ WHAT the materials are that you must report, and WHAT their reporting thresholds are.
