The Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society Board of Directors has proposed a revision to the Society’s operating bylaws. It is the belief of the Society’s leadership that amendments of the bylaws are necessary and vital to the continuing success of the organization as the needs of the Society and its membership evolve over time.

This latest revision will be submitted for final approval by a majority vote of the NFFS membership who are present at the NFFS Annual Meeting, which will be held at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida on February 11, 2020 as part of the NFFS Industry Executive Conference and Annual Meeting. Additional information regarding the meeting is available at www.nffs.org/iec.

The proposed revision includes important changes to membership eligibility, board structure and governance, as well as edits to simplify language when possible. Membership are encouraged to review the proposed Bylaws available on the NFFS website at www.nffs.org/proposed.

The current Bylaws for the Society are similarly available at www.nffs.org/current. For comparative analysis between the existing Bylaws and the proposed revision, visit www.nffs.org/compare.

If you are attending the 2020 NFFS Industry Executive Conference, please remember to assert your right and responsibility as a NFFS member and vote! The NFFS Board of Directors hopes that you will give fair consideration of the issue and vote in favor of the proposed changes.

Feel free to contact Jerrod Weaver, NFFS Executive Director, at jerrod@nffs.org, or any member of the NFFS Board of Directors, if you have any questions.
