Compliance monitoring is one of the key components the Federal and State EPA agencies use to ensure that the regulated community obeys environmental laws and regulations. It encompasses all regulatory agency activities performed to determine whether a facility (or group of facilities) is in compliance with applicable law.

Inspections are an integral part of EPA’s compliance monitoring programs. They are an important tool for officially assessing compliance with environmental regulations and requirements. EPA and its regulatory partners conduct compliance inspections under the majority of statutory and regulatory program authorities.

But what do you DO when an EPA inspector arrives at your foundry for an inspection? Join NFFS for a review of the EPA inspection process, and how to ensure you are prepared the next time the EPA knocks on YOUR foundry door!
