The new OSHA respirable silica standard requires foundries to have a written silica exposure control plan that includes a description of the tasks in the workplace that involve exposure to respirable silica as well as a description of the engineering controls and work practices used to limit employee exposure. NFFS has developed a template of the written control plan that will be distributed to attendees, and we will discuss how to edit and implement the plan.
