Summary: Direct and manage Morganite Crucible’s Sales Team in order to meet MMMS growth, margin and cash objectives. Assess, reorganize (as needed) and focus the sales team, align the North American distribution network with MMMS goals and increase crucible and equipment business through targeted sales strategies and tactics.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Execute the agreed annual sales plan to meet the territory and team sales objectives
- Assess, organize, manage and focus the Sales Team
- Manage and optimize North American Distribution network, track distributor performance to ensure MMMS targets are met
- Increase margins through implementation of price increases and customer rationalization
- Oversee and manage Salesforce.com utilization (Leads, opportunities)
- Map customer base in North America and ensure all accounts are being addressed, develop account specific action plans to gain market share
- Provide sales reports as required
Essential Duties
1. Territory North America (US and Canada)
2. Sales Team Manage sales team performance, improve sales team technical skills, focus team on sales growth and margin improvement activities. Develop customer base map and implement actions plans to obtain and maintain customer business. Ensure Saleforce.com is being utilized to its full effect. Track Leads and Opportunities.
3. Key Accounts Develop relationships and improve communications with strategic distributors and top direct accounts. Monitor distributor performance and establish action plans to improve underperforming accounts.
4. Optimize Margins Identify price increase opportunities and initiate actions to implement. Improve margins through enforcement of payment terms, identify innovative solutions to improve margins.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and seven to ten years related experience. MBA preferred.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have high level ability of Microsoft Office software and be able to utilize the Internet.
