This search engine will allow you to quickly and efficiently search for a foundry or other metalcasting business through the use of a searchable database. Upon entering the search engine, you will be prompted to enter the information that you would like to search by, including alloy designation, casting process, and geographic location. Note that the more parameters you enter into the search function, the smaller the resulting database report will be, in turn decreasing the number of foundries match your given criteria.

This search engine was developed at least partially with the use of governmental funds through a collective foundry effort developed by the American Metalcasting Consortium (AMC). The AMC is comprised of four foundry industry associations, with the intent of furthering the metalcasting industry through partnerships with entities such as the defense logistical agency. For further information on the AMC, please refer to the AMC Link on the industry links page, located on the NFFS home page.

By entering this database, you agree that any information obtained through the use of this search engine will be used only with the intent of locating a metalcasting vendor. Use of this search engine to generate sales leads, duplicate the NFFS member database, or the attempt to use this information for any other purpose is expressly prohibited. By clicking on the "YES" button below, you agree to the above statement and wish to enter the search engine. If you do not agree to the above terms and conditions, simply click on the "NO" button to return to the NFFS home page.

NFFS Adds New Feature To Website To Assist Casting Buyers

NFFS has expanded the capabilities of the NFFSearch by incorporating aluminum and copper Alloy Specifications. The new feature enables users to access critical data for a particular alloy such as specifications, chemical composition, and mechanical properties. Furthermore, the new alloy search is very easy to use. By selecting any alloy from the aluminum or copper menu, NFFSearch will ask the user if they would like to see the specifications for that alloy. When ‘Yes’ is selected, it gives the user a printable spec sheet on the alloy. From there, the user has two options. They can either click a button to search for another alloy, or select an option that will give them a list of foundries that specialize in pouring the designated alloy.
