NFFSummit Webinar: Reviewing your “R” Form Submissions

Every year, most foundries are required to submit their Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) program data to the EPA under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know act of 1986, also known as Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act. Each foundry that is required to report must submit a TRI Form ‘R’ for each TRI-listed chemical it manufacturers, processes, or otherwise uses in quantities above the reporting threshold.

Every year, most foundries are required to submit their Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) program data to the EPA under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know act of 1986, also known as Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act. Join NFFS for a review of the ‘R’ form filings and a review of important aspects of the reporting program, including:

  • A review of the Form R;
  • A review of the TRI chemical list and reporting thresholds;
  • Understand the Interpretations that impact your reporting. For example, are you aware of the reporting requirements for sending scrap to a recycler?
  • How about when you transfer other solid materials to an offsite location or vendor?
  • Defining and discussing Water and Air releases;
  • How to submit your reports online using EPA’s online TRI Reporting Application;

Remember, your ‘R’ forms are due by July 1! Register to attend this important webinar in advance of your annual filing!
