The NFFS Annual Meeting took place at the The Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Nevada on Friday, October 9th through Monday, October 12th.

It combined expert presentations, industry updates, and panel discussions that included ample opportunity for peer interaction and discussion for all of this years attendees.

We offered dicounts for first time attendee discounts, as well as multiple attendees from the same company and we were able to bring out as many members as we did the previous year. Which is very impressive considering the current economic staus.

The society has always been able to make a strong business case for the value of its meetings. Time after time, attendees report that the information they receive from the speakers, more than repays their company for the cost to attend. But in these tough times, the Program Committee knew they had to work even harder to flush out the program with topics and speakers that will sweeten the pot for attending foundry owners and executives.

NFFS also knows that getting away from your foundry this year wasn't easy, particularly when so many problems and issues are piling up on your desk throughout the week. Because of that, we made radical changes to the program- including moving our speakers and tabletop sessions to the weekend. With the Welcome Reception on Friday evening, the Business Program began on Saturday morning and ended by noon on Monday, thus cutting the time you needed to be away significantly.
